The following Information Management Task Force status was sent to Renata Lowe for sharing at the March 9, 2013 NSCS Board meeting:

• At the suggestion of the NSCS Recording Secretary, the Task Force has been rechristened the “Information Management Task Force” or “IM Task Force”.
• The draft of the project document has been updated with some proposed selections and configuration options for Task Force consideration.
• Planning has begun for a set of activities related to, but not dependent on, the implementation of CiviCRM. These activities would include creating the mail service files required for the NSCS 2013-2014 Season brochure.
• Because of other higher priority activities since last month’s Board meeting, not much else has happened.

It's not clear who (i.e., which Board member/coordinator) is responsible for determining/verifying the selection criteria for our season brochure mailings.  But as a first step, the Task Force requests that the Board confirm that they do want to consider including “Lifetime of Singing” workshop registrants in the selection for various mailings.  That was the assumption in planning the “Mailing List Activities.”
